Aztec Food

This Aztec Food KS2 DT lesson give your Year 5 or Year 6 class the chance to create and taste some of the foods Aztecs would have eaten!

Children are given the opportunity to follow recipes to make guacamole, salsa and hot chocolate, as well as to design and make their own Aztec-style tortilla wrap. They are encouraged to taste test the foods, evaluating their methods and the food’s quality.

Where did the Aztecs live?
