Get your children thinking about their own beliefs as well as those of others in their local community with these Key Stage Two R.E. lessons for Year 5/6 children. Lesson 1: Our Local Area
What beliefs do we share? Challenge your children to consider what beliefs are shared in their school community, which of them are similar to those of other communities in their local area, and how religious beliefs help people in their day-to-day lives.

In this lesson, children will consider how being part of a Jewish family affects a young girl's daily life. They will go on to think about their own religious or non-religious communities, including how being a part of them influences their beliefs and actions.

Lesson 3: Inspirational Figures
