Identifying Sea Creatures

This Identifying Sea Creatures KS1 lesson starts off by defining what an ocean is and where the oceans of the world are. Your class are then challenged to think about which animals live in oceans and which don’t. They will learn to identify a variety of common ocean animals, such as fish, lobsters, octopuses, seahorses and many more. They will also look briefly at how animals can be classified as mammals, birds, reptiles, fish and invertebrates.
