In this first KS1 DT Sliding Mechanisms lesson, children will find out what a sliding mechanism is, and how it can be used to make a moving picture.

Using the resources provided, children are encouraged to explore the sliding mechanism by making a variety of simple moving pictures incorporating different dinosaurs.
