Season Diaries

Across these five ready-to-teach lessons, children explore the concept of seasons by naming and describing them, matching them to simple descriptions and developing seasonal vocabulary through discussion, images and guided questioning. To begin the lesson, children will identify each season shown and recall describing words through a think-pair-share discussion. Vocabulary to describe each season is introduced and discussed, and children use these words to complete simple sentence stems, saying their sentences aloud.
